Chronopoesis

Chronopoesis is a dystopian sci-fi fantasy short film created during Uneton48 2025. Directed by Sami Hakkarainen and developed collaboratively as a team, the film is the result of an intuitive, ritualistic creative process in which all elements of the film were determined by inducing all team members into a trance state prior to brainstorming. The story depicts a situation that symbolically represents our current predicament of simultaneously holding both the possibility of global world peace and nuclear catastrophe in our collective consciousness. Aesthetically, the film is influenced by Dennis Villeneuve’s Dune trilogy.
