Chronopoesis

Chronopoesis is a dystopian sci-fi fantasy short film done during Uneton48 2025. Directed by Sami Hakkarainen and developed together as a team, the film is a result of a intuitive ritualistic creative process where all elements of the film were decided by inducing all team members into a trance state before brainstorming. The story depicts a situation that in a symbolic way represents our current predicament of holding both the possibility of global world peace and nuclear catastrophe in our collective consciousness simultaneously. Aesthetically the film is influenced by the Dune trilogy of Dennis Villeneuve.
