more than just a drink
Sauna Fresh was born from the idea that a drink could do more than just quench thirst and taste good. Could it simultaneously invigorate and soothe, spark curiosity, bring people closer to culture, and spark conversations? We realized that it could! Now our Sauna Fresh concept has finally gotten the look it deserves.
The final design was selected through a nationwide competition in which 137 designers from across Finland participated. Tens of thousands of people voted for their favorite, and a panel of experts selected the winner from among the five entries that received the most votes. The winner was Kaisa Kokko, whose work is fresh, recognizable, and timeless. Kaisa is a founding partner at Desavu, a company that designs and builds designer saunas.

So Sauna Fresh isn't just a new drink. It's a new way to combine wellness, the sauna, and Finnish culture into a single experience.
Each can tells a story: a QR code leads to curated cultural content. A portion of the proceeds from every can sold also supports the national Nuori Kulttuuri initiative. In this way, Sauna Fresh is more than just a product; it builds a new kind of relationship between consumption, well-being, meaningfulness, and cultural experiences.

The QR code takes you to a curated online gallery showcasing Finnish cultural experiences. The online gallery features 108 carefully selected stories from various art forms, spanning Finnish cultural history to the present day. So the can doesn’t just contain a functional beverage—it’s an invitation to look beyond the surface.
